Worthy Sweepers is a local company run by Mark Holmes and operates in The Worthies, Winchester and surrounding areas of Hampshire. Prior to his work chimney sweeping Mark owned a roofing business that was involved in the construction and replacement of many roofs around the Worthies, Winchester and other areas in Hampshire. The services he offered included works on pitched and flat rooves, chimney breast replacements and renovation works. Mark’s customers included local churches, community centers and government buildings.

Mark has had an interest in open fires and wood-burners for many years and has been fortunate to have owned properties over the years that have had either open fires or wood-burners. As a result of this he is all too aware of the pitfalls that can come with these wonderful methods of heating. Mark is very happy to share his considerable knowledge of open fires and wood-burners with his customers so that he can ensure that his customers can get the very best from their open fire or wood-burner and create a safe and efficient way of heating their home. Mark is fully qualified, having completed his training as a Master Chimney Sweep with the NACS (National Association of Chimney Sweeps) and is fully competent to provide both manual and power sweeping for all your chimney needs. Worthy Sweepers will also ensure that your chimney is safe and in good condition by using the latest CCTV technology to monitor damages that can occur within the chimney breast.
